N.Y.C. could get 8 inches of snow Tuesday

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Parts of the country that have just recovered from the cold spell dubbed the polar vortex are facing another blast of wintry weather. The National Weather Service has issued an advisory that warns of an Arctic air mass arriving to the Eastern U.S. between now and Wednesday. Snow is expected in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions. Several inches of...accumulation appears increasingly likely over this area, along with plummeting temperatures, the National Weather Service advised. New York City could get up to 8 inches on Tuesday and Tuesday night, while Washington D.C. could get up to 7 inches. In Chicago, up to 5 inches could fall overnight Monday and temperatures Tuesday could be as cold as 13 below zero, including wind chill, it added.
