Natural-gas futures end at 5-year high; oil gains

MarketWatch.com - MarketPulse SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Natural-gas futures jumped 11% on Wednesday to their highest settlement in more than 5 years, as cold U.S. weather and forecasts for more continue to feed worries about supplies. March natural gas added 60 cents to settle at $6.149 per million British thermal units, the highest for a most-active contract since December 2008, FactSet data show.
